Jeff Sarli & Hong Kong
My friend Jeff Sarli died in Nashville on August 29, 2006. Thanks to Howie for giving me the news! How sad! He died of kidney disease at age 48. I had the pleasure to play with Jeff and Dean Rosenthal at Rams Head last year. Please consult his website for details of his death and also leave a message on the guestbook.
Jeff was famous for his work with Anson Funderburgh, John Mooney, Big Joe & The Dynaflows, and the Rolling Stones. He also played bass with Elvis's band members Scotty Moore and DJ Fontana. Jeff will be missed!
On a warm note, I arrived in HK safely and am starting my PCLL of HKU. Any HK takers, please send me an e-mail and let me know if you'd like to meet up soon.
Gotta run!
